- 1 tablespoon raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
- Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon (1–2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional, or stevia for sugar-free)
- 1 cup warm water (not boiling)
- 2 tablespoons dried Butterfly Pea Flowers
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- Optional: Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and remove from heat. Add Butterfly Pea Flowers and steep for 10 minutes. Strain if desired.
- If skipping flowers, just warm the water (not boiling).
- Pour apple cider vinegar and lemon juice into a glass.
- Add grated ginger and stir in honey or sweetener until dissolved.
- Pour in warm water or Butterfly Pea Flower tea. Stir well.
- Add optional cinnamon, chia seeds, or mint. Let sit for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve warm or over ice. Garnish with lemon and mint if desired. Drink immediately.
Notes
For best results, consume in the morning on an empty stomach. Avoid boiling water, and use fresh ingredients for optimal potency.
