Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups purified water
- 1 tablespoon high-quality Himalayan pink salt (fine ground)
- 1 tablespoon raw organic honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 1 cup of purified water to approximately 140°F (60°C)—warm but not boiling.
- Add the pink salt and stir until completely dissolved. The solution should be pink and clear.
- Stir in the honey, lemon juice, ginger, and turmeric until well combined.
- Add a pinch of black pepper and mix thoroughly.
- Allow to cool to room temperature, then add the remaining 1 cup of purified water.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve and transfer to a glass container with an airtight lid.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Always use Himalayan pink salt—not table salt—for maximum mineral content. Avoid metal containers and excessive intake (limit to 16oz daily). Shake before use if separation occurs.
