Description

A simple and powerful Brazilian health drink made with raw apple cider vinegar, lemon, and ginger—known for its metabolism and digestion benefits.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup warm or room-temperature water
  • Optional: Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 cup of warm water or steep 2 tablespoons of butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 10 minutes (optional), then strain.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar to the water.
  3. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the mixture.
  4. Grate and add 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ginger.
  5. Optionally sweeten with 1 teaspoon of raw honey or maple syrup. Stir to dissolve.
  6. Mix everything thoroughly for 30 seconds to combine ingredients well.
  7. Serve immediately while warm or pour over ice for a cold version.
